You can create sections like in this server and have different places for this stuff, such as how I have rules and information in a separate section than general conversation or sharing media, but you can control posting permissions between those. Also you can’t control individually comment permissions or feedback type. It’s all the same, which means you need to have to have an entirely different padlet to do anything like better voting, different types of feedback, etc. Well that would be nothing more than an inconvenience, there is a limit on the amount of padlets you can make. I understand that we are definitely using padlet outside of its intended purpose, but even so it should have more free customizability. What is nice is the fact that it updates quite fast, but it can be laggy at times. Overall, I think they could do a lot better.

Most people here likely have played Minecraft. Currently on bedrock edition they are doing a Pale Garden Office Party event, which I have played. What I also did was get EVERY sticker except for the last two daily quest ones, because there was only the day two quest out last night when I did it. Sure, it took a lot longer than I’m willing to admit, but I did it!

It doesn’t immediately update or really attempt to, which I know is doable since padlet and discord do so, and the students can’t really use it for their own benefit. It cost $10 USD per student (one time purchase) less you can confirm you are a school, which I dislike. This means it’s kinda one sided towards only the teachers having control and the students kinda can’t do anything with it. It also lacks any customization except for a profile picture and a bio (which is more so a problem with modern stuff in general than it is with Schoology specifically).


I understand that it achieves what it needs to, I just dislike it. It’s pretty good at what the school is using it for, I just want to be able to do more with it.
