    • It is known as Spain´s unicorn because it has been the only Spanish firm inside the 16 startups that have been named as "unicorns" in 2018. (Business Insider, 2018)

  • The Millennials generation (also known as the Z generation) use less public transport like trains or buses and an uprise in demand for private cars is increasing.

    • Cabify is focusing on the new generation of millenilas: Age 22-37 but mainly men from 35 onwards with high socio-economic outcome that earn around 40 000 euros a year. (Fintonic, 2018). 

    • The private transport Industry in general concentrates in those around the age of 30. This segment is the future. They will control 80% of the revenue in the future. (Harper's BAZAAR, 2018)

  • Major competitors: Uber and Taxi drivers.

    • There is direct competition and very powerful from Uber.

    • The website below shows how Uber has more customer base than Cabify and how this potentially can become a threat.

    • However, the taxi Industry is also a big threat as it has support, at least from the Spanish government, due to the fact that taxi drivers pay the VTC law registration whereas Cabify doesn´t.

  • The firm presents a high quality service. An example can be the fleet of Tesla cars that Cabify is using to deliver their service. The drivers are well dressed, very polite and offer food and drinks.

    • Highly secure as the passengers ankowlegde the drivers name and the license plate as well as being able to follow the journey from start to finish compared to normal taxis.

    • Payment system is with credit cards which is highly satisfactory for new generation customers as most of the time they carry credit cards around.
    • Customization to specific segments. E.G. Cabify XL, Cabify baby.
