In 1993, a popular soul and rnb artist decided to retire and claim the money he's earned over his years in music. AFTRA H&R told Moore he would receive one payment of $2,285, and a monthly payment of $67. He was told this was due to him making $66,000 since the early 1960s. After he and his wife (who is also his manager) reviewed his decades in music, they found that his earnings added up to around $3 Million, and his pension should be about $9,000 a month.
