Due to not having real classroom experience, I gather most of my knowledge from class material and discussions. Especially this semester, where I'm in BOTH EME4406 and EEX4294 and both classes have discussion groups. Being able to read everyone else's thoughts, and experience's, is a great learning tool for me since a lot of people in the class have more experience than me.

Reading through the resources you linked for us in Canvas, DEN feels like a network I would use in my professional life. It seeks to connect educators, no matter their role, so they can stay up to date. Through this, I could connect with English teacher's outside of Florida to develop new lessons; or, just connect with people who may have better ways of incorporating ideas (such as tech) into lessons.

While I never thought I'd be using Reddit for a class assignment, I find it fitting for this one. Reddit as a website has thousands of threads, all dedicated to a specific topic. While currently I'm in one dedicated to UF and my workplace (Dollar General), as an English teacher I could join ones based on ELA (the page I've linked) or even one for books read in class, one for teachers, etc etc. The possibilities are endless, and the thus the knowledge I could gain from any 'subreddits' is also endless.

Initially, I checked this source out because I thought the name was funny. But, further reading makes me believe that it could be a truly helpful source. Common Sense Education would be helpful for teachers who still need help developing digital lesson plans, and I feel like I would be in that category.
