Ce jeune architecte est née en 1795 à Leicester et est décédé en 1872. Il travaillait pour l’élite des anglophones de Québec. Il a créé l’église wesleyenne aujourd’hui appelé l’institut Canadien. Il a aussi construit la villa Cataraqui en 1851. Edward Staveley a été un des plus grand architecte pour la vieille capitale. Finalement, il s'associe à son fils Harry. Edward Staveley n'a aucune photo sur Internet.
