         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bell was born on March 3, 1847, Edinburgh, United Kingdom<br>Died: August 2, 1922, Beinn Bhreagh. He was an influential scientist,engineer and inventor. Bell is widely credited with the invention of the first practical telephone. He came to the U.S. as a teacher of the deaf and conceived the idea of "electronic speech."
