Wolves were removed from Yellowstone in 1926 and reintroduced in 1995. With this today they are fully restored to the National Park. With this, the wolves help lower the number of elks in Yellowstone. Before the Wolves, there were around 17,00 elk and now after they were reintroduced they had around 4,000 elk. This helps Yellowstone by providing a stronger ecosystem with grass and plants growing more due to the lack of elk eating them. Also, the number of bears increased due to more berries being available for the bears.

Wyoming generated a very high profit from just the National Park because of tourism with around 826 million dollars contributing to the local shops and restaurants. Also, Yellowstone has around 4.5 million visitors to Yellowstone in 2023. This was a large impact due to that only 0.17% of the US population lives in Wyoming. So Yellowstone National Park being in Wyoming helps the small amount of people that do live there.

To start, one of the issues was protecting the wildlife in the Yellowstone area. During the time before the National Park was created there was a problem of overhunting and Habitat loss. Also, something that Yellowstone Park helped with was ecosystem restoration, by reintroducing wolves into the environment. The wolves helped the elk population to maintain it. The Value system that I think that uses is Ecocentic because they are prioritizing the environment and that the wolves will fix the Yellowstone park and they did.

Yellowstone is an active supervolcano. Which causes the Grand Prismatic, also there are only 20 supervolcanos in the world. Another fact is that Yellowstone has a century-old inn since they are the first national park, it was created over 150 years ago. Still being the oldest it is one of the most desired National Parks in the US with 4 million visitors last year.

Yellowstone was created due to the lack of environmental protection in that area. So Ulysses S Grant signed a law to created the First Nation Park, so he choose to create it to protect its Natural Beauty and its wildlife. To this day the Park is visited a lot by many people and still the natural environment is protected.
