<title>Techniques used with persuasion usually have an emotionally theme and tend to use emotive words to coax the reader to act (sponsor a dog , give money, buy something) also uses hyperboles ( exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally) ‘ a best friend for life’. May use rhetorical questions - making the reader answer think ‘ why not sponsor a dog for a gift’ Consider the audience of the text , Gender , dog lovers• Is the text seeking the readers trust, sympathy, empathy /caring it states&#39; UK largest 17000 dogs&#39; suggests a reputable business• Uses phases ‘those who need extra care’ ‘we never destroy a healthy dog’ The writer says it will be as ‘ little as £1.per week’ using the word generosity . This persuades the reader into thinking they are being charitable, kindness and generous. Repetition in the words such as ‘sponsor and help’ ………. The writer persuades the reader with reinforced messages reinforced. Consider the layout of the piece – clearly with simple quick paragraphs to grab attention of the reader with simple plain English </title>
