He later turns himself in everyone he was with faced jail time, but since he was a minor he was spared and only faced minimal time.

Sampson has his doubts about wanting to become a doctor but George and Rameck talk him out of it. George has struggles in Dental school getting paired with a mean doctor and getting robbed. He gains confidence when another student helps him with his tie.

Sampson also faced problems and struggles in school because he failed the medical state board exam but he studied hard and took it again and passed. When he saw Beth Israel Hospital, the same hospital he was born in had a residency program he knew that's where he wanted to go.
