Remember that to use the correct form in the present simple tense wey will start whit the affirmative structure ( s + to be + predicate).
For negative form we use ( s + to be + negation + predicate).
And the question form we use ( to be + s + predicate + ?). This first tense really sounds simple.
So, in the example it shows use in detail the verb to be that corresponds to each group of person ( for the first person it is I am or I'm, for the second person or plural we will use You are or You're contraction and for third person let us use she is or She's ). Remember that the aforementioned applies to affirmative in singular or plural, but something important to mention...when it comes to structuring in negative the contraction is done in I'm not, You aren't and she isn't .

In general, we only add "s" to most third person verbs. Work - works Live - lives.
Well, Exception: When there is a vowel before the "y", we simply add "s". Play -plays Pray - prays.
So, Verbs ending in "y", change the "y" to "ies": Fly- flies Cry- cries.
When verbs end in: -ss, -x, -sh, -ch, we add "es" at the end. Pass - passes Catch - catches Fix - fixes.
in the negative way Do-Does is applied using in a correct way, respecting the rule; in the first person singular and plural we use the "Do" and in the third person we use Does (remembering that the verb doesn't adds the "s" since it is by grammar rule to add the "Does").
So, in the interrogative structure we will only change the Do-Does at the beginning ex. (Do-Does + S + verb + obj +?). likewise the third person rule applies.

This video talks about the grammatical rule of the present continuous, where it shows us its structure and rules, we must be attentive in the small details that are the rules of the first and third person, in addition to singular or plural, it also mentions the rule of the ING: if the verb ends in a vowel "e" this will be replaced by ING (make-making), if it ends in "y" only ING (play-playin) is added, but if the verb ends in cvc it must be modified in such a way which is added double consonant (sit-sitting).
