It would require more than just sending information home. The parents would need to attend some sort of meeting/speaker or possibly have some sort of webinar they could watch to help them understand growth mindset. Having copies of the books available for them to peruse would be beneficial as well.

I also think it is important that the parents, students, and community are hearing it everywhere (website, information, speakers, student conversation...) The more we get it our there, the better. What if the district made a video showing the teachers and staff sharing something they have had to work hard towards

Pairing with PTO and/or public library to host speakers who can inform and teach this topic to the community would be great.
Another idea would be to have an open house at some point in the year where we highlight the good things that happen in the classroom - art, music, forensics, etc - and have mini-talks on growth mindset and other issues that are effecting kids.

I agree with what several other people have suggested: we need to start internally by directly teaching it to the students, and then work outward. We should be continually showing it to the community, rather than a one-and-done event. We could issue this continuous communication via the school's website/social media in addition to the presentations/events.
