I like using Tan, Sin and Cos in a real world situation. The only think I think that could have been improved was getting the whole class to take their measurements at the same time so that we could compare answers more accurately. Additionally, we could have taken 1 measurement, calculated the height, then did another trial to avoid confusion.

It started very well measuring the angles. However, we forgot to measure the distance and after I went out to switch positions with Jonathan underneath the drone, we missed measuring the distance again. It was an enjoyably applied experiment. In the future, I think it would be more engaging to actually use our math in a useful way.
