Her sweet, friendly, encouraging notes always put a smile on my face. And when we actually got to chat face to face, Renee was so fun to be with. Always upbeat, always ready to laugh.  She was a very  genuine person. She taught me a lot about letting things slide and looking at the bright side of life.  Thank you for your friendship, Renee!

I shared a classroom and then worked next door to Renee for several years.  We shared many conversations, both professional and personal.  Not only was she a bright and accomplished woman who worked hard to make the lives of others better, but she was a goodhearted person who identified with her Oxnard Adult School family.  I will fondly remember the Holiday parties when she opened her home so warmly and generously to us all, and gave us a beautiful  place to celebrate.  We'll miss her smile and caring ways!
