The combination of ethos, logos, and pathos definitely shifted my thoughts on social media. Before watching the documentary, I was already quite skeptical about social media and technology. I was aware that tech companies collected out info and sold it to advertisers. After watching the arguments made in the film I have become more conscious about my media consumption. The MIT study that fake news on Twitter spreads 6x faster than true news really surprised me.
