https://padlet.com/hoffm063/fu6ymab1yhyx Made with hesitation en-us 2017-01-26 23:31:47 UTC 2017-05-17 10:05:23 UTC hello@padlet.com hoffm063 https://padlet.com/hoffm063/fu6ymab1yhyx/wish/149783443 Hello all!  I am a wife and mother to three beautiful girls, ages 16, 7, and almost 6 years old.  I enjoy hiking, camping, trying new foods, and watching my kids participate in softball, choir, and drama.  I have always loved science, especially biology, and my friends and family have been telling me for years that they think I would make a great teacher.  I suppose I didn't have the confidence in myself that I could overcome my fear of public speaking and that even if I did, that I wouldn't be able to connect with teenagers.  So I put the thought to the side.  But something happened this year.  I started volunteering in my daughter's kindergarten class and I saw that I can connect with children.  The public speaking I will have to work on, but I am willing to try anything and everything to overcome the fear.  My goal is to become a high school Biology teacher, teaching what I love to learn about!
