Dear diary,
 Today I became a sharecropper i was told i could live here for free all I had to do was farm a portion of his land and give him 75% the rest i could take and sell or keep but I also have to pay him for the money I used to feed my family I always say its gonna get better but now im starting to think its not but im still grateful that im not a slave anymore.
P.S. I hope it gets better next year
