Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you."

In Surah Maryam, the story of Ibrahim (Abraham) and his father, Azar, highlights Ibrahim's struggle against idolatry. Ibrahim challenges his father's worship of idols, urging him to recognize the one true God. Despite Ibrahim's efforts to guide him, Azar remains steadfast in his beliefs. This conflict underscores Ibrahim's strong faith and conviction in monotheism, ultimately leading him to distance himself from his father's practices and seek a deeper relationship with God. The narrative emphasizes themes of faith, rejection of falsehood, and the importance of individual belief.

Respect and Honor: Always speak to them with kindness and avoid harsh words.

Obedience: Follow their lawful requests and guidance, as long as they do not contradict Islamic teachings.

Gratitude: Show appreciation for their sacrifices and efforts in raising you.

Care: Support them, especially in their old age, both emotionally and physically.

Dua (Prayers): Regularly pray for their well-being and forgiveness.
