Difference between Ro'n and ais i etc.

There are differences between the past tense that we learned in Uned 10 (past tense) with the endings and this new tense that uses ro'n (imperfect tense).

Imperfect and past tense verbs show the difference in the timing of past actions. The past perfect tense relates to an action that was completed at one time. For example I got up at 8; Codais i am 8 o'r gloch. The imperfect tense, refers to an action that continued for some time. For example, I was living in London when I was a translator: Ro'n i'n byw yn Llundain pan o'n i'n gyfieithiwr.
