         <description><![CDATA[<div>Claim: The wingspan of the handmade helicopter does increase the velocity of the helicopter as it falls, but only to a certain point until the materials of the helicopter fail, in which case the helicopter would drop rather rapidly.<br><br>Reasoning: The increase of increase of time in the air corresponding to the wingspan is to be expected (surface area, air resistance, etc). That the helicopter would fail when the wingspan became too long is reasonable too. This is mostly due to the physical constraints of paper, and both its length and its thickness; the wings could not keep at 90° because there was too much force pushing up the wings (air resistance) and too much force  pushing down the base of the helicopter (weight of paper + tape + weight of coin). Of course, it must be kept in mind that as the wing length increase, so does the total weight of the helicopter, so that might be a factor too.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Josh: Having a larger wingspan will slow down the descent of the object.<br><br>This is because more drag will be created by adding more surface area. This is also seen in real life, where parachutes are used to create drag and slow down the object. Thanks to this drag, the time it takes to descend is slower, and as a result, the speed of descent is slower.<br><br>Shreya<br>Claim: The larger the wingspan of the helicopter, the more time it takes to come down. <br>Reasoning: In the data taken as the wing length increased the time it took to come down was more. When the wingspan was 6cm it took 1.06secs however, when it was 8cm it took 1.12 secs. Although this may not seem as a drastic increase it did  take more time. The wingspan also affected the speed due to the amount of time it took. Over time since the time increased, the speed was slower.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> claim: How dose the size of the blade length impact the time it takes to fall? if the length is smaller dose that take time off the fall or increase it.<br> reasoning: Looking through data  the smaller the length the less time it takes to fall, with the blade length of 4 cm it took 0.48 seconds to hit the ground but with the blade length of 7.5 it took 0.73 second to hit the grown. that shows with smaller blades the helicopter falls faster than bigger blades.</div>]]></description>
