Landlords that wish to evict their tenants have different methods of doing it, from informal methods like taking off the front door to more formal methods like taking the tenants to court. If a forced eviction occurs (by police), the tenants may choose to have their belongings dumped on the curb or in a storage unit.

A connecting website system called gobankingrates.com connects many banks across the country. They explain their procedures in missing mortage payments, the usual maximum being four payments missed during a period of four months.
