I focused on  Blending and using different color pallets. In "Waves" I used Pinterest for inspiration and found The Wave by Hokusai

With little knowledge or experience painting, I tried to use the skills and  techniques I used With Colored Pencils. After a lots of trial and error, I was able to Blend and create more dimension.

There was a stray cat that lived  near my grandmas house. She was a black cat with bright green eyes. Over the years, after constant sightings of this cat decided to name her Quinn. When the Q-13 Project was first given to us I immediately thought of this childhood memory.  Q, going with the name Quinn and 13; Which is considered an Unlucky number (Like black cats)

Throughout my pieces I really wanted to have a variety of themes, textures, colors and methods.  This one show that the best.

This Was My Attempt at the "multiple me's" project. I didn't like how it turned out but I think that It taught me more about the shape and proportions of the human face.  As I did these I slowly learned more and was able to make progress in terms of making it resemble me.

When I began this, I had a plan to make this more realistic. When I saw all of the colors that go into making a natural human complexion; I was inspired to do something a little different.

for this Painting I used my fingers. I am so accustomed to using brushes that a break from them seemed like a good idea. It helped me open up and refresh for new projects.

This part Highlights and Shadows were used more appropriately.

I wanted this to be an abstract piece. I use a smooth monochromatic theme throughout. My goal for this was for it to be simple and relaxing. Something you might even find in a spa.

This painting helped me understand proportions and shapes. I was able to mix and find a smooth technique that worked for me. I was also able to experiment with a monochromatic theme.
