Most of the land that we have now is because Lewis and Clark stood up for our country and started an expedition. Many other tribes were found and they gave us food and shelter on the journey. Everybody thought that they would die there but they proved them wrong and came back alive. They made friends like sacagawea and they wouldn't came back alive if it wasn't for her.
They found the continental divide and that lead to the Rocky Mountains. They were called the Corps of Discovery and one of the times that the trip could've failed was when they had to cross the rockies. They were going to die because of cold, hunger, and starvation. Only one person died on the journey. They main mission was to find a water route leading to the pacific ocean but they failed to do that. In my words their mission may have failed but the discovery succeded.

Also by finding out new crops they didn't know they could eat without dying or getting sick. The Lewis and Clarke Expedition gave Thomas Jefferson knowledge of the information he was trying to find out and with out sacagawea help during the expedition we would not have made it far. All of the new things they learned can help benefit the United States forming a better nation.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition impacted the United States in many ways. One way that it impacted the U.S was that they found a lot of new plant and animal species. Another reason was that it helped Jefferson see and know all the Native American tribes that were on the land that they just bought. They also found that there was no water route that goes directly from the place where they started to the Pacific Ocean and that there were two rivers the Colombian and the Missouri river that lead there. Also something that stood in the way of them finding a perfect route to the Pacific Ocean was the Rocky Mountains that run right across the new place they bought. After meeting a lot of helpful people they soon discovered that there was no water route and that they mission might have been a failure but what they did discover was huge success.

The Louis and Clark expedition impacted the our country by giving the United States more information about this new land and inspiring future pioneers to settle into this new land. This journey really helped the country and Jefferson by giving new and important information by this new land by finding and recording new plants and animals, and even encounter and meet Native Americans such as Sacagawea. The Louis and Clark expedition also proved that there was no direct water route to the Pacific, so there was no such thing as the "Northwest Passage."
Also, this famous journey inspired future pioneers to settle in this new land. Without the Louis and Clark Expedition, no one would've probably settled in this new territory, and people would stop moving west.
I think that the Louis and Clark Expedition impacted the United States by giving the United States essential information about this new land and also inspiring new generations to settle there.

The impact the Lewis and Clark expedition made was huge. For starters, Lewis and Clark were brave enough to explore the Louisiana Territory, not knowing what dangers could be ahead of them. This inspired other people to later on explore this land again and discover even more, like even more plants and animals, and maybe find new rivers that could benefit them in the future. Also, now that Lewis and Clark explored the land, they found good places for people to settle in and make the country & population larger. These two reasons both come to support how more people can settle and live westward of the Mississippi River because of the inspiration of Lewis and Clark.

The Lewis and Clark expedition impacted our country in many ways. One way, was that it showed people that the new land was safe. If Lewis and Clark never went on the expedition, people would not know what types of animals were in the new territory. It would be dangerous because people moving into to the territory would not know how to deal with the animals. This could cause people to get injured or killed. This would definetly hurt our population. Also if it was dangerous and nobody moved out into the land, our nation would be smaller and not as expanded as it is today. Another big impact the Lewis and Clark expedition made was that it convinced people to move into the new territory and expand our nations and population.

The Lewis and Clark expedition impacted American history in so many ways. Lewis and Clark had a lot of courage to explore the United States. They went on the expedition that lasted two years. There were many struggles during this time, for example sleeping in the freezing Rocky mountains, with frigid tempatures, snow, and hunger .The main goal was to find the pacific ocean, and discover facts about the new United States. Lewis and Clark found the Pacific ocean

The impact that the Lewis and Clark expedition made was huge. Here are some examples why. First, during the journey, they found out about new animals and plants that they never knew existed. Lewis and Clark found new land and information about the land where people now live today. In addition, they found a water route. People still use this route every day to help them with things. This is how the Lewis and Clark Expedition made a huge impact.

The impact that the Lewis and Clark expedition made was amazing and huge. There are many different examples of what this expedition did for the United States. First of all, during the expedition, they found new land. Another thing that they did was that they found a water route to the Pacific Ocean. The journey their was rough and they did not know where they were going but they met Indian tribes to help them. Only one person died on that journey and the way back took only six months because they new where they were going. This was an amazing point in history and it will stay important to the United States.

DAVID M- I really like how you mentioned new people settling into the Louisiana Territory because I believe that the expedition was a big part of the U.S. expanding westward. I don't think many people would have moved westward if the expedition didn't happen. Overall, I agree with you.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition impacted the us a lot. Lewis really changed the way people looked at our country. By leading this expedition he led the us to a place we would of possibly never had have today. They also got to see and explore so many new things like Native Americans and new crops and animals. Even though it was a rough and challenging journey in the end what everyone did was amazing because now we got so much out of it.

The Lewis and Clark expedition impacted the United States. For example During their Journey they had found many new plants and animals. Another reason why it impacts us is because Lewis and Clark helped us learn about Native American and their Journey of how they went through so much to discover the land. Were we are now with all these plant, animals, and new land was all because of Lewis and Clark and their group throughout this challenging Journey of his.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition impacted the United States by discovering many new animals.
