The National Monument or are largely known as Monas is one of the famous landmarks in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. The construction was started in 1961 and was officially opened for public in 1975. This obelisk monument was built to commemorate Indonesian people struggle in obtaining their independence from Dutch colonialism.

The full height of Monas is 132 meters, soaring from the ground to the sky. It consists of three different parts of level. The upmost part is a flame shaped crown which is covered by 45 kg of gold. It weighs about 14.6 tons and has a height of 17 meters. The second part is the top platform. It has rectangular shape with the size of 11 by 11 meters. Visitors can reach it by using the elevator; it takes about three minutes long. From this platform, they can see a vast and clear view of the whole city. The last part is the lower platform. This rectangular platform has a width of 45 meters for each side. Inside this lower section, there is a chamber of freedom. It keeps many authentic symbol and documents of Indonesian freedom.

The National Monument (Indonesian: Monumen Nasional (Monas)) is a 433 ft (132 metre) tower in the centre of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia's independence. Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno and the monument was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold foil. 

The monument and the museum is open daily from 08.00 - 15.00 Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7), everyday throughout the week, except for the last Monday of each month, when the monument is closed. The main Sudirman-Thamrin avenues in Jakarta lead to the Merdeka Square, where in its center stands the National Monument (also known as Monas--Monumen Nasional) which houses the first red-and-white flag flown at the Proclamation of Independence on 17 August 1945. This flag has now become threadbare, and so nowadays on Independence Day ceremonies, the original flag is taken out but only to accompany the replica flag to be flown in front of the Merdeka Palace. The 137 meter tall National Monument is obelisk shaped, and is topped with a 14.5 meter bronze flame coated with 32 kilograms gold leaf. Within the pedestal is a museum depicting in diorama Indonesia’s fight for Independence as well as the original text of the Proclamation of Independence. A lift takes visitors up to the look-out platform at the base of the flame for a grand view of Jakarta. Surrounding the Monument is now a park with a musical fountain, enjoyed by the Jakarta public on Sundays for sports and recreation.

Grand Mosque Mosque Rokan Hulu Islamic Center (MAMIC Rohul) or commonly referred to as the Grand Mosque Madir Sand Pengaraian is the Great Mosque and Islamic Center Rokan Hulu district, Riau province. Its development was initiated by the Regent of Rokan Hulu Drs. H. Achmad, M. Si, and became an icon of Rokan Hulu Regency. The construction of MAMIC Rokan Hulu started in 2008, and it was inaugurated on Friday 25th of Syaban 1431 H, coinciding with August 6, 2010 M by Rokan Hulu Regent Drs. H. Achmad, M. Si. By presenting the famous Ustadz, Dai Million KH people. Zainuddin MZ who acted as Khatib on Friday prayers at that time.

The mosque has a 99-meter tower symbolizing 99 asmaul husna. from the top of this tower we can see the whole sightings of the city of sand pengaraian very extraordinary. the mosque is equipped with many facilities such as libraries, meeting rooms and so on which of course ensure the comfort of the visitors who worship there. if we go in and see the interior architecture of the mosque, a great sense of wonder will be felt. ranging from ornaments of existing calligraphy ornaments, unique properties breathable Islamic make the atmosphere will feel more solemn.

My Mother

I have a lovely mother. Her name is Farida. She is the best mother in the world for me. She always helps me and is always there whenever I need her or whenever I need a help. She always listens to my stories and my problems and she likes to give me the best advices.

My mother was born on September, 20th 1968. She has a beautiful face as me, or she is even more beautiful than me. She has an oval face with chubby cheeks. She has wavy short hair. Her eyes are black as well as her hair. Her skin is rather dark, just the same as me. It is the kind of Asian skin, especially for those who live in tropical countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, or Singapore. We call it here as ‘sawo matang’ skin. Besides, she has loud voice. It is not very common for Javanese person, especially Javanese woman, has loud voice. But, my mother has a loud voice because she is a teacher so that she is used to talk loudly so that all of her students are able to listen to her clearly in the class.

My mother is a discipline person. Since she was young, my mother is always used to be discipline and is used to put everything in its place. She likes everything tidy. She will get mad if her children do not put everything that they just use back to its place where they take it. So, my mother’s behavior, in my opinion as her child, is aso in her children’s behavior. I am a discipline person. Even though my mother is a discipline person, she is also a humorous person. She likes to get a joke to everyone. She sometimes like to pinch me or my sister. Nevertheless, what I adore my mother is she is an independent woman. She likes to do everything by her own. As long as she can do it alone, then she will do it. I really want to be like her. Moreover, my mom has a soft heart. She can easily cry if there is a thing or even a little thing touch her heart. My mother is the best mother in the world for me. I want to be like her and I want to educate my children later in the future just like the way she educates me until I become someone independent and diligent. I really love my mother.

My Angel

My mother is a beautiful person. She is not tall but not short, and she has curly hair and brown. Her eyes color are like honey and her color skin color light brown, and she has a beautiful smile. Her weight 58kg. She is a very kind person. She is very lovely, friendly, patient, and she loves to help people. I love my mom, because she is a good example to me. She loves being in the Church, and she loves sing and dance too. 

She is a very good child, wife and mother. She always takes care of her family. She likes her house to be clean and organized. She a very organized person, and all things in the house are in the right place. She doesn’t like messes. 

She always has a smile on her face. She is so sweet and lovely. I like when I am going to sleep or went I wake up or when I am going to go to some places, she always give me a kiss, and when the family have a problem she always be with us to helps us and to give us all her love.

My Hero

The most important person in my life is my father. He has been an example for me to develop my social and professional life. In my social life, he showed me how to be with people and what behaviors I need in different situations. For example, I speak or behave differently with parents and young people. My father can not study at school, but he has a lot of experience. He is a good worker with high responsibilities in his work. He also taught me that the most important responsibility is my work and my family.

My dad is a very good baseball player when he's young. He loves all sports, and he teaches me to exercise with a clear mind. My father is an ordinary person. However, he has become the greatest person to me.

Borobudur temple is a very famous Budist temple. It is is one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. Built in the 8th and 9th centuries by Syailendra Dynasty, the temple is consist of teen floors. It symbolize the teen floors of Bodhisattvas ( teen level to achive perfection ).

Borobudur Temple also can be divided into three levels. Those are Kamadatu, Rupadatu, and Arupadatu. Kamadatu symbolize the lowest level of human. Here people still tied to the law of karma. Here we can see Karma Wibangga Reliefs.

The second level is Rupadatu Level or the level of face. It symbolize people that starting to search for illumination. At this level, we can see Lalitavistara, the relief about Budha. There are also other reliefs and story at this level.

The last one is Arupadatu level or the level without face. It symbolize the perfection. It is the circle floors at the temple where we can see the many stupas.

            I have a cute cat. It always accompany me to learn and play in every day. It is Catty. Catty is the Persia cat that I have since my first years. My mother said that she found Catty in from of our home and sit in the terrace. Nobody know about the owner of this cat, so my mom decided to keep it with us.

            I always play with Catty since I was very young. It is never hurt me anymore. We are best friend. Playing together in everyday is our activity. Catty have the yellow fur. It is thick and smooth. Everyone who touch it will feel happy. Because the smooth sensation from its fur will make whom touch Catty won’t never let its escape.

Although, Catty is a cat, but Catty always do its activity like it is a human. It goes to toilet itself, so my home is clean from its feces. My father build a toilet special for Catty in the back home. We usually clean its toilet once a week. Catty like to play chasing with me. Its long and scaffold foot make Catty is easy to run. Whereas, it has fat body, but it never seen tire to run.

Catty likes to eat sardine. It eats some tins of sardine, so it has fat body. I always give him a vitamin drink special for cat. It will make its body always healthy and there is no illness come to Catty.

Catty usually does whimper to my feet when I get home from school. It does it not only with me but also with my parents. The sign of its whimper is that it want to carry. So after school, I should carry it.

Catty always follow  me wherever I go, such eating, changing cloths, playing, watching television, and also studying. Catty is the interpretation animal. When I’m studying, it never disturb me. It only sits beside me.

Catty is the sweet cat. His big body make it so cute. It makes every people who meet it always want catty to be their own pet. My neighbors always carry Catty when I ask it to go surrounding. They always says that they want Catty. But I won’t give Catty to them or other, because Catty is my lovey pet.

Catty has ever been a winner of a cat catwalk competition. I do not know that Catty have great inner beauty as the female cat, so the adjudicator choose it to be the winner.

Catty, the clever cat is my best friend. I love it much.

There is also an amphitheater in this building called Ruang Kemerdekaan, it is located in the "cup" part of Monas and it can be reached by using spiral stairs at the north and south doors. If you go to the southern side of the building, you will find an elevator that can be use to access the top platform where we will find the observation deck and also the flame of independent.
