What interests and curiosities do they want to explore? Someone shared in Saturday's padlet that they envisioned a world in which students are the architects of their learning. This means that teachers take a back seat and, like TL named, reframe their role as co-learners. Hurt people hurt people, right? So I believe with strong conviction that healing people can help others heal too. My students are so wise, and they know what they need to be okay. I wonder what it would look like to give our young people the space to facilitate healing for themselves and others. 

I also believe that classrooms are spaces to recognize our sacred interdependence. If one person in our school community is hurting, we're all hurting. This understanding and practice helps build compassion for ourselves and others.
