I also gained hands-on experience in environmental service by joining a beach-cleaning project during my orientation period.

Apart from my studies I love doing variety of activities like sports, art, music, cooking and doing random research about an organism I'm currently hyped about. My curiosity for unique animals and plants has made my follow a BSc degree. Now almost finishing a year here at the University I have learned many life lessons.

I am currently attached to the University of Jaffna.

I am deeply passionate about ecology, climate change, and environmental sustainability. Much of my research experience focuses on climate change and its influence on faunal adaptation, particularly how species adjust their behavior and survival strategies under changing environmental conditions.

Beyond this, I am also interested in broader climate research, including ecosystem resilience, biodiversity conservation, and the impacts of human activities on natural habitats.
