Where he lives and where I live both are very hot. But one thing that is not similar is that he only has 3 schools in his village were in our city we have many school.

Josiah said that were he lives the main way people get to school is by biking or walking. However where I live almost every one drives to school.

There is one very drastic difference between here in Texas and where Sudarshan lives. Sudarshan said that it snows between January and March but here in Texas it rarely to never snows. One thing that is the same is that it gets really hot in summer in both of our city’s.

For instance Josiah eats and likes a lot of the same foods I enjoy like pizza, hotdogs, and more.

Ava had a couple or different foods where she lived that I had never heard of like Mackina island fudge. Another thing that is different is that in michigan is known for having good apples where here the apples don’t taste to good.

Matteo lives in Italy and the most popular food is pizza. Matteo wrought a long post about how his country came to be what it is today. He said that in the beginning they were plagued by war, America was built out of a war and in that way we are similar.

Josiah explained that there used to be lots of glass factories in his town but they were all shut down. However, here there are maybe one glass factory.

Josiah explained about the Levoy theater in his city. When I was reading about it I immediately thought that it sounded just like Casa Mañana which is a theater we have it Texas.

Matteo wrote about a mosaic that was created in 1100 by Plantlone. We have lots of art in Texas but I’m not  sure if we have any that old.

Ava explained the statues she drove by every day and how they had them all over her town which is much like what we have here. She also said that they put up a big pine tree in the park at Christmas. Matteo said a lot about his culture including something about a dance called the pizzica. Texas has a lot of culture and we are known for square dancing so in that way we are vaguely alike.

Ava said that not many people from her town are famous and the only thing that happens there is the news. I had no idea all these places had so much culture.
