( Matrix id :2423202 ).I am from Kuala Lumpur. I just joined IIUM this semester and being a first year accounting student. A little bit about me is that I love reading novels and watch all sort of dramas. Also, I always have a burning passion to join volunteering activities ever since 13 years old, I hope one day I can make it happen, and bring a positive impact towards the society.

A lot of matters discussed were hard to understand during this talk since I was not exposed to political matter and the term used often, yet my main understanding is that everything started with sympathy, giving opportunities in politics, economy and social that ended up whole camouflage of the new used to be hated community. Now they are part of the rulers of countries, business minds, dominating world security system and the undeniable matter is regardless of how ruthless Islamophobia gets, at the end we are the slave of the system and we are tied under most matters.

That doesn't mean we have to entire obey to the system , yet we can make our name worldwide, through achievement and having power to repair the people perspective and mentality in order achieve a bigger goal of world peace.

SDG-16 PEACE,JUSTICE and STRONG INSTITUTION

It is clear that everyone ultimate purpose is to achieve salvation. In pluralism, even the belief constructed can be based on the fallacy believed to be truth or through civil kind of perspective is being formed. That is to say pluralism is the beginning of atheism.

a] Have you wondered, why there is pluralism?

-every religion is discussing about the same God but way of praying is different.

-everyone want to secure safety and happiness (finding similarities)

-the final conclusion back to referring to one ( at the highest degree of camparison everyone will come to conclusion God is one)

+it is said that people who have religion= intolerent.

b] Islamic perception toward other religion? How it reminds toward pluralism

-Al-Kafirun(v1-2) -Say, “O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship.

-Al- Baqarah (v-256)- 'Laa Iqraaha Fiddin' (there is no forcing to adhere and revert to Islam)+ also to say to fundamentally highlight that Islam should guide and lead other religions. At the same time other religions should be recognized their existence but not recognize the truthiness.

Also there was sharing of the meaning Iradah Qauniah (Allah predestinates those things to exist) and Iradah Syariah (Allah redha' those things exist)
Also there was a discussion about future of tolerance and challenges in Islamic Community.

It was a very long talk, yet it gave me a fascinating and meaningful experience since I get to learn about how these rare term are used and how these sociological terms are matched with religious terms.

SDG-16 PEACE,JUSTICE and STRONG INSTITUTION

We did get real life experience to hold the living chicken. We are also exposed the right veins of the chicken to be slaughtered before we head to slaughtering area. During practical application, me and my group were taught the right way to hold the chicken , hold the knife out of sight of chicken and finally slaughter while make sure does not cruelly done.

After we slaughter, every group assigned to pluck out the feathers, cut the chicken into 8 pieces and clean them before pass it to the cooking team. Me and my friend also contributed to pealing and cutting the vegetables.

Finally, we had a feast. That was a tiring day yet but a raw experience.

SDG 15- LIFE ON LAND

-Begun with a little energizing dance, later a lot of science and math related checkpoint done and with little art component included ( since STEM is now became STEAM) where there were little fun games were included.

-Then there were activities which emphasizing on team work has been done which includes completing mission with eyes closed while being instructed by other group members and also constructing stable and strong building while using 100 pieces of straw.

That's a wrap.

SDG 4- QUALITY EDUCATION

There were several booth I visited to feed my curiosity with these usually unveiled matters.

There were also this one sharing by the Good Society about the myths and facts that misinterpreted by people overall. One of the interesting matter that I have learnt is that the myth is period should be exactly 28 days apart while fact is anywhere between 21-35 days is actually normal.

There is also some presentation of the openness of women regarding period, like how those days, during conservative times people would not dare to mention about this period matter openly, meanwhile these days it is openly accepted to be talked about since people have change their view on this matter and not to be view it as a weird thing anymore.

Also, there was a sharing about period poverty and how it is still prevalent to date and what can we do to combat this matter.

SDG 5- GENDER EQUALITY

This program focused on introducing the existence of division of clubs under good society. Not only that they also shared to us the importance of existence of each club and types of activities that are done to give awareness to the people in university about education, environment and gender equity .

It was very fun and exciting session since there were singing, foods and activities related sustainability.

The activities was join by both members and non members of the club.

Me myself, I was from the education club, I hope there will be more opportunities to join activities related to awareness towards education.

As part of Special task team, I get to help out with the preparation of the hall and get the chance to plan the interior look together with the team. We used the recyclable items to decorated and mainly reused things.

It was a fantastic experience.

SDG 4-QUALITY EDUCATION

Eventually at the end, it is all about human greed and irreversability of most matters since we are living by using the amount of recources to accomodate our current living styles.
