I fear that the reason why many feel that we need more clearly defined roles is that there is a belief that we will lose our Instructional Coaches and Reading Specialists in the future.          <title>If a teacher can differentiate the learning for the individual...or a small group...that&#39;s the overall goal because it addresses proficiency levels, motivation, retention, etc.  The advent of laptops/labs in our district has certainly helped support these strategies, but the power of these models...whether &quot;station rotation&quot; or &quot;targeted pull out rotation&quot;, etc...still lives or dies by the capabilities of the teacher.  The station rotation with targeted pull out is the best model currently with our current school dynamics.  The Flipped model is not realistic at this point in time for elementary schools.</title>

         <title>Those that have taken to implementing a model in their classroom are really doing a wonderful job and the students are loving the flexibility.  Many of my Math teachers are using a &quot;Flipped&quot; model so they have a smaller group for direct instruction and utilizing the tool as a support and practice.</title>

         <title>The mix is dependent on funds...some schools have Title monies...some do not; how many devices on campus is a key element as well.  The bottom line...whatever the mix is to find something...digital...whatever that schools can use for multiple years so teachers can get proficient and comfortable with it.  Right now, products are being used, but not in depth or with rigor.</title>
