My dad wasn't the best and my mom knew this. Eventually they got a divorce it showed my dad what he had done wrong. I haven't spoken to him in awhile but I know hes doing better now.

How does this relate to the theme?

And my mom started to date and now we have an awesome hopefully almost step-dad.

I probably could have done better and not get distracted as easily. But this year I don't plan on doing that again. My mom was a straight A student and expects the same from me, but I don't really think that'll happen but i'm not gonna let that happen and i'll try a lot harder but not to hard, just enough. And hopefully won't be as stressed as last year.
