Charles Darnay: I have been imprisoned once again, after all of the work my father in-law Manette did to get me out in the first place. I fear that Lucie and my daughter will be lost without me once again. Despite the fact that I have renounced my title, I am still being punished for my birth name.

Dr. Manette: I have put so much effort into releasing Darnay from prison, to bring him back to his family. I am beginning to see it as useless for he his headed back to prison once again. I am shocked that Madame Defarge and Defarge sent out a request for his arrest after they had previously helped me. What is their reason for imprisoning him again? And who is the third person who requested the arrest?

Lucie: Just as I had feared, the footsteps have become very loud and have entered into our lives taking my husband from me. I can't get over the feeling that I may never see him again. I am worried that the revolutionaries will take his life as they have every other French aristocrat.

Jarvis Lorry: I am lost on what else to do to reunite Charles and Lucie for good. I have been doing everything I can as I am being told what is going on within their house. I've been told that Darnay has been arrested again and I will help to find a way to get him out

Madame Defarge: I am bloodthirsty to kill every last French aristocrat, whether they have treated peasants poorly or not. It is important to bring extinction to the entirety of such a bloodline. We are quickly making our way through the list that is knitted into the shrouds I have made over the years. We have been successful thus far as we have moved on to kill the King and his wife.

Charles Darnay: The recent events have made me realize even more why I don't want to take the big title. I made it to France but was unfortunately imprisoned. After finally getting out it wasn't long until was right back there. I'm scared for Lucie and I feel like a disappointment to Dr. Manette because he did so much to get me out in the first place.
Dr.Manette: I am not sure how to help anymore. I want to make Lucie happy and I know that Charles does that for her. I am running out of ideas though on how to keep saving him. I thought the Defarges were on my side and they could help until I learned they are the reason Charles is back in prison. I am not sure what to do anymore.
Lucie: I miss Charles. I waited so long for him to come back to us. He was a mere foot away and then was taken away from me again. I'm scared I will never see him and the revolutionaries will take him for good.
Jarvis Lorry: I have made it my mission to help Charles out. I have continued and will continue to help him get out of trouble. I want to see Lucie and him happy. I know that I am strong and that I can bring them a happy ending.
Madame Defarge: I am full of rage. I want to kill every last French aristocrat weather they have been good or bad. I have big plans for the future and hope to be able to carry them out successfully.

Charles Darnay: I really cannot believe it. I spent a whole year in prison and finally made it out, just to be sent back. What is the reason for this anyways? I am devastated to leave Lucie and my daughter once again. I hope they will be okay without me, and I hope that Dr. Manette will be willing and able to rescue me once again.

Dr. Manette: Why is it that I worked so hard to get Charles released, and he is being sent back again. Im not sure if my efforts are strong enough to pull this off a second time. My heart breaks for my daughter and her family. I saw how heartbroken she was last time, and I worry that she won't be strong enough to get through this a second time.

Lucie: Why is this happening to me? Why can't my family just be whole again? My heart ached every day when I stood out there, begging for just a mere glimpse of my husband through that prison window. Why do I have to go through this again? I hope he will be okay, but I fear it is far to rare for him to escape the guillotine a second time.

Jarvis Lorry: I feel as if I am so close to the Manettes that I am a part of their family. I understand the pain Lucie and Dr. Manette feel as they see Charles imprisoned once again. I feel it is my duty to make sure their family--my family-- is whole again. I am dumbfounded that Madame and Monsiuer Defarge have done this. Why? What is the reason behind his imprisonment? Who was the third person who accused him?

Madame Defarge: We have accomplished much, but there is still much work to be done. I will not be finished until every single French aristocrat is eliminated. I have made much progress, my recent step being Charles Darnay. I will not let Dr. Manette get him out this time.

Charles Darnay: I can't believe I'm being sent back to prison. I just got reunited with my family and I am already being torn away from them. Why was I even let out in the first place if I was just going to be immediately sent back? I hope Lucie and little Lucie will be okay in my continued absence.

Lucie Darnay: I am absolutely devastated that Charles is being taken away again. I had a terrible feeling something would break our family apart again. I fear that we will never return to England now, at least not as a whole family. I have confidence in my father, but I'm not sure even he can rescue my husband now.

Dr. Manette: I have spent so much effort over the past year to save Lucie's dear husband. As soon as I finally got Charles out of prison, he is being sent back again. I felt confident I could get Charles out the first time. However, I'm not quite as confident I could do it a second time, especially if the Defarges want him dead.

Jarvis Lorry: My original plan was to come to France for a short time to take care of Tellson's affairs. It's an honor to still be managing them a year and some months later. I wish the best for my little adopted family, but I fear this new imprisonment will be too much for Lucie and the Doctor. I know Dr. Manette was confident he could save Charles the first time, but this seems like a very grave development indeed.

Madame Defarge: Every last one of the aristocrats must die. No good exists in any of their hearts, including that emigrant Darnay. He seems to think that he is safe and sound with his family, but none of the aristocrats shall ever know safety within France. They shall all meet La Guillotine.

Darnay: I have been imprisoned for the second time, after Lucie and father in law worked hard to get me out. I am so worn out, I just want to go home in peace. I am worried about the toll it'll take on Lucie with me going away again. I feel betrayed that I am being held down because of my name rather than what I stand for.

Dr. Manette: I have put so much effort, and even risked the dignity of own name trying to safe Charles just for him to get captured again. I am confused as to why Madam Defarge set out an order for Charles to be captured after helping me. I wonder who is the third person requesting that Charles be detained again. I wonder what the reason for Madam Defarge betraying me again.

Lucie: Ever since Charles was finally released I was worried that he would be taken again. The time has come and my worst nightmare has come true. Why did Madam Defarge order Charles to be taken again after helping us. Those footsteps of those policemen coming for Charles will always echo in my head.

Jarvis Lorry: I have given my all to help the Darnay family to be reunited. I feel like I have spent so much time with them and felt the same sorrow and the same struggles of this family I feel like I am a part of it. Recently I have heard that Charles has been captured again, I am out of ideas I am at loss of words to describe the pain Lucie and Dr. Manette must be feelings.

Madam Defarge: I feel no emotion towards the aristocrats. They all must die. I helped the Darnays knowing that I will go back and finish Charles off once and for all. All the aristocrats feel safe in their homes until the famous La guillitine sniffes them out and knocks the very last one out.

Charles: I came back to France and was sent to prison just for being a former resident. I have always been innocent of everything and have never done anything wrong. Maybe people are treating me this way because of my uncle? I am confused, upset, and homesick and want to see my family again.

Dr. Manette: My poor daughter has just learned her husband has been imprisoned again, even though I worked so hard to get him out. I love my daughter and I would do anything for her, her child, and her husband. I am willing to go back and risk it all just to get Charles back.

Lucie: My husband has been captured in prison again. It is just me, Miss Pross, my father, and my daughter. I am devastated about my husband's imprisonment and am worried sick about him. I am worried for my daughter, too. What if she never sees her father again and grows up without ever getting to know him?

Lorry: I have been with this family through thick and thin and they seem to keep getting themselves more into trouble. I would do anything for them, but I'm worried their presence may threaten the bank's business. I have sent them to a lodge home far away from the grounds so they can stay safe and out of sight, but at the same time keeping me and the bank out of risk.

Madame Defarge: Progress is happening more and more everyday and we are accomplishing so much with this revolution. People are getting what they deserve and we are getting justice. The pathetic daughter of the ex-prisoner is begging me to have mercy on her husband and her child, but I care more about specks of dirt than her family. We will fight this fight and have no mercy on anyone, but first I have to finish my knitting.

Charles Darnay: Well I am back in prison again. This is so frustrating!! It was so much work for Lucie and my father in law to get me out. I feel so bad for them. I cant believe this is happening to me. I am innocent and in prison when there are guilty people roaming the streets. Words cannot describe how I feel right now.

Dr. Manette: I love Lucie and would do anything for her husband and child, even risk my own name to save him. But now hes back in prison and I am so man and confused. Why would Madam Defarge set out that order and who is the third person? Could someone I trust actually be working against me?

Lucie: My poor poor husband...what did he ever do to deserve this. I am so thankful for my dads efforts to help save him and I hope he can get him out again. I had a bad feeling that something like this was going to happen. And my daughter, my poor daughter, what if she never gets to know her dad, what if I never see him again. So many what ifs that I cant even sleep at night.

Jarvis Lorry: I love Darnay family. I feel like I am apart of them, I feel what they feel, and have been with them through thick and thin. But they keep getting into more and more trouble which makes more worried for the banks business. So I sent them far away for their safety and the banks. I hope I am making the right decision.

Madam Defarge: ¨Strike fast, strike hard, no mercy¨, thats what the revolution is about. ALL aristocrats must die. None are safe and none deserve to feel safe. They will pay for what they have done. Even Darnay. Somehow he managed to escape the first time he was in prison, but not this time. I will not allow them to feel any hope.
