The Game won’t let me 'send' so here are my answers to the questions so I have emailed them. I live in Crystal Brook which is too far for me to make more than one trip to Adelaide per week. I did the walk on Sunday evening and I am familiar with the area. I found the rise and fall of the topography most enjoyable. At this time of the year I tried to imagine how hard it must have been to live there and how cold it might have been. A roaring fire to keep warm or having to move inland until the weather changed. Somehow feels far to manicured with the rolling green lawns and flower beds. There was a lovely Black Swan and ducks cruising in the water. The River needs some urgent attention with far too much rubbish along the banks.

After reading about the River Torrens being a sacred River known by the Kaurna people as the Karrawirraparri it put this walk into a different perspective for me. (historic enviornment, 2015) I felt conflicted to the see the new hospital erected despite it being a significant area to the culture and heritage of the Kaurna people, (with their request in 2009 to have this site listed as an Aboriginal heritage site being rejected). However I’m sure the hospital will be of benefit toboth indigenous and non indigenous people. With the developments along the riverbank perhaps it would be appropriate to see something of this sacred area preserved for the Kaurna people.

I also seemed to have issues with the "game"and was unable to submit my answers into the app. I did however find the walk very interesting - the main thing that caught my interest was the difference that such a seemingly short amount of time had changed the land and the difference the years have made to Adelaide. Being able to compare the original painting by William Light in 1837 to the same area on North Terrace today was an eye opening experience. The walk also brought to my attention some very beautiful indigenous artwork I had never seen before, even though I had walked those same routes several times.
