They are some part I really liked and others that i didn't enjoy that much. The thing that I less enjoy is that we need to read the complete sequel to know what will happen to Tally and the Smoke. I don't really have time to read the complete sequel so it made me angry. Althought, I really enjoyed all the special things they had. Like the way they oppened the doors or they stuck their feet upside down with the weird glue.  ALEX     


«Uglies», ritten by Scott Westerfeld, is a really complexe book so i thinks its not for everybody. Personnaly i didn't really appreciate the books cause i thinks the characters are dumb in the novel and i don't agree with all the things the protagonist do. They fought against Dr. Cable together.They also both like the same guy. they are still a bit different thought. Shay has a biggercharacter then Tally.  I think we can compare Tally to Katniss Everden from Hunger games. I really think they had similar path. They both wanted to follow the trend at start. Tally wanted to join the pretty and Katniss wanted to live in the capitol. But after being tell about all the bad things they were doing, they both joined a rebellious squad to fight against  the people who used to control them. ALEX


The antagonist in the book is the special circumstance and all the people who made the pretties surgery. They are acting like what there doing is great and good for the society. They make everyone pretty and everybody are just partying everyday, but what they don't know is that the surgery to turn pretties cause brain lesions. Because of brain lesions they became vegtables, they are slow at thinking and always happy. The second theme 
is freedom. Tally and the smoke are trying to have freedom because there is none with doctor Cable. Even tho it's for a good cause, Brainwashing everybody is a bit excesive and it's crual. ALEX

With all the pressure she had with Dr Cable brainwashing her, she decided to help the good community and get against Dr Cable.-A
