My favorite corner is my desk. When I am at home, you can find me here in most of the time. Usually, I'll be either playing videogames on my computer, or making some reports, sometimes I'll just listen to the music and read novel. I turn my desk lamp to mist yellow color, so it can be comfortable and brught enough for me, but in some specific timing, I might turn it into amber color, so it can be more cozy to me. As you can see in this picture, it is quite messy, that's because I don't clean it oftenly, but I can still found my stuff if I want. On the right side of my desk, there's desk shelf with something I tidy up a few months ago, most of them are my yearbook, music sheet, some wire, my earphone and something I seldom touch, it is a small place for me to store tools, files or even some old memories I don't want to throw away. next to the shelf is the very first cello I own, I had it when I was 3rd grade in the elementary school, I didn't sell it when I get the cello I'm using now, although the size of it is too small for me now, but it did reminds me some good old memories.

In this picture, you can observe a lovely and messy desk with several computer equipment. It is my favorite place to stay when I am at home. Cover by a comfortable muted yellow desk lamp’s light, I will have a nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate, I can stay here for a whole day either playing video games or completing my report. Sometimes I might set the lamp light into amber tint to make my little cover even more cozier. After that, I’ll play a soft and slow music and read my novel. On the two side of my desk, that is a messy place with lots of items such as my yearbook, music sheet, files, and things that brings me memories. Although I have tried hard to tidy up and clean it, but it just didn’t work, consider that I can still find my stuff while I need, I’ll just call it an “organized chaos”. There’s a cello lean on my desk in the corner, It’s my very first own cello. While I was a 3rd grade elementary school’s student, my mother bought this cello for me, so I can follow my interest, and I really loves to play cello, I even sleep in that cello’s bag once. After I got my current cello, I decided to keep it as a good call of my old memories.

As far as I understand now, I know sustainable travel does not equal to green travel, it does not just include natural environment, it also contains local culture, economy and quality travel. People should understand the responsibility to make effort on sustainable tourism.

In my opinion, sustainable travel is to make the tourism spot release the best potential of travel while making it stable, decrease damage to the enviroment and stimulate the local economy and full of knowledge and education.

The truth is, it isn't that hard, just pay attention on how to deal with the list above and have fun. For more specific, the examples are such as don't leave your garbage at tourism spot to damage the environment, respect local culture and learn some simple words such as thank you, sorry or please in local language, take best usage of local resources, buying things from local shop to support local business, travel slower to fully enjoy the whole experiences in tourism spot and taking public transportation and even more thing you could do to put an effort in it.

Here's some example about sustainable tourism:

https://sumas.ch/5-examples-of-sustainable-tourism-around-the-world/

these example shows that sustainable not just helping the tourism spot, it also effecting athe whole country, so it shows mor importance to pay attention to sustainable tourism, maybe next time I go for a little travel, I'll try to hkelps with it.

Descriptive writing is just wonderful, the words with such power to build a detailed illustration gives me a totally shock.

Before I had this class, I have once thinking about if I can write an article with detail to describe my vision or feeling in Chinese, how can I do the same in English? The reason I come up with this question is that one of my hobby is to read novel, the sentence inside of it made a perfect image in my mind, but unfortunately, this thought flash by my brian just like a shooting star, I didn't think to much about it than.

After the class, I just realise that with descriptive writing, there are so many things I have to learn, and it has change a bit of my view. No matter it is the color, the texture, the temperature, the shape, how it moves, how it works, my own feeling, all of these can be describe into a beautiful and well-detailed article, and it can become a wonderful image in one's own imagine, the words do contains power!

In a normal Thursday afternoon, I was in my room and watching my phone on my bed, the wind was howling through my ear, it was blowing into the room through the open window, the sky was full of clouds, it seems like the the weather is getting colder and colder.

I felt myself freezing from the top of my head to my toes, a tremble suddenly appeared.

I realized that I had to close the window to stop the winds pumping into my room, so I stand up from my cozy and warm bed then went straight to the window, the wind was getting stronger and sharper while I was getting closer and closer to the window like my room is a playground for the spirit of the winds, but I rejected them firmly, I shut the window and didn’t feel a single bit guilty.

Just at the moment I turn around and decided to keep watching my phone on the bed, I noticed my white and black VR glasses that was put in the corner of my desk, I bought it a few days before the Wednesday and I haven’t use it.

“I’m going to the space”, as this thoughts came up with a “big bang” in my mind, I started to search for a VR video that is about the universe.

I found one that looks awesome and realistic from the cover, so I start my journey in the “universe”, I wear my head set slowly like I’m wearing an astronaut’s helmet and click the start button.

“Wow…” That is the first thing I said after I start the video, In my vision, I was floating above a sea blue planet, I can see the line that separate the profound ocean and the emerald-green land, mountains seems like a tiny hill that I can cross with my feet.

The planet, of course it is our beautiful planet Earth, is so majestic from the space, I’ve seem many of image that shows the Earth, but using VR is a whole new experience for me, I was shocked, our earth is just wonderful, I realized that how precious the planet we live everyday.

The image is still in my head and I can’t forget, it sure gives me an unforgettable experience.

My preferred enclave is my desk, a space where I predominantly reside when at home. Typically, I engage in activities such as playing video games on my computer, compiling reports, or immersing myself in music and novels. I intentionally set my desk lamp to a muted yellow hue for a comfortable yet well-lit ambiance. However, during specific intervals, I opt for an amber tint to impart a cozier atmosphere. The apparent disorder in the accompanying image is a result of infrequent cleaning, yet I can effortlessly locate my belongings when needed.

Adjacent to my desk, on the right side, rests a shelving unit where I organized items a few months ago. Among its contents are my yearbooks, music sheets, various wires, earphones, and seldom-used possessions. This serves as a designated space for tools, files, and even cherished memories I am reluctant to discard. Proximate to the shelf is my inaugural cello, acquired during my third-grade year in elementary school. Despite its current diminutive size, I chose to retain it even after obtaining my current cello, as it evokes poignant recollections from bygone days.

Several computer devices are arranged on a beautiful yet disorganized surface in this image. It is my preferred lodging establishment when I am at home. Situated beneath a cozy, subdued yellow desk lamp, I relish a delectable cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Enthusiastic, I am able to spend the entire day here engaged in either video game activities or the completion of my report. On occasion, I may adjust the lamp light to an amber hue in order to further enhance the coziness of my small cover. After that, I will read my novel while listening to gentle, slow music. There is a jumbled chaos on both sides of my desk, comprised of numerous items including my yearbook, music sheet, files, and mementos. It's a "organized chaos" because I can still locate my belongings despite my best efforts to clean and organize it. Despite my best efforts, I've been unable to achieve success in this regard. A cello is leaning against the corner of my workstation; it is my very first cello. In third grade, my mother purchased this cello for me so that I could pursue my interest; I genuinely enjoy playing the instrument and have even slept in its satchel. After acquiring my present cello, I resolved to retain it as a memento of bygone eras.

A Trip to The National Taiwan Science Education Center

12/27 is just a day that nothing more than ordinary, the sky was full of soft cloud, and the sun light can only get through some aperture which just have the size of a needle. Me and Peter decided to visit the national Taiwan science education center(NTSEC) on this day, and we'll met at Shilin MRT station.

I guess we did not have a great start, because I forgot to tell Peter my phone number, and neither of us have wifi. Gladly, I didn't panic, I know how to connect with the wifi belongs to the station, then, I send a message to my teacher to get Peter's number, and after that, we met successfully.

We arrived NTSEC at about a quarter to two, it is a giant structure with wide cylinder and a higher cuboid that holds together.

I have been this place since I was a kid, after we buy the ticket and get inside, the memories came back like tide, everything seems so familiar but different in my grown-up eyes, no matter the steampunk style elevator or the terrifying sky bicycle that I never dare to ride.

I strated to get excited, and I can't wait to see what's inside after so many years pass by.

The first place we found is an area called "Design our world, gendered innovation", the whole area with was covered by warm yellow light, the floor was wooden and the wall looks like smooth card board.

This area shows the history about technology, but it also reminds people about gender equality.

I saw many great women with wonderful ideas, discoveries and inventions, I also saw some of the present design that was come up by women. I guess this area did a great job to gender equality education, it really helps people get more respect to women.

The second area, I forgot the name, but I remember that it is about the biodiversity, the whole area was taking a advantage by using dark theme, so the colorful of creatures can be strongly show, no matter the tiger’s flame-orange skin and black stripes, or the dark jade-green vine climb all over the wall, even the light gray rhino’s skin looks even tougher than the rock.

Also, there’s a touchable rhino skin was set on the wall, it feels tougher than my thought that I almost considered it as a stone armor.

The third area is about physical rules around us, unfortunately a show was just over while we stepped into this area, we heard multiple loud clap from the crowd, so we can just look for something interesting by ourselves, this area contains many physical rules and their usage that is around us everyday, the lights, the electricity, the sounds, the gravity, and so on.

This area has a lot of interactive settings, such as AC and DC power generator, the pipe that deliver sounds, the laser reflection maze, the illusion that a body without lower half.

I also found a thing I remember, it is a high volt electricity experience machine, when I was a kid, I joined a outdoor education journey to the NTSEC, and we came to this machine, our tour guide tell us we should get on the high volt electricity experience machine, but I rejected, I saw my classmates get zap and looks so shocked, so I kinda scares it even I am grown up man now.

The fourth area is connected and just like the previous one but for chemical, I saw a person wraping himself into a bubble, a Galileo thermometer, and there's also a panel that seems to simulate the reaction of chemical substance, but it doesn't work, so I guess it broke.

After all, we're heading back to the Shilin station, I decide to have a fried chicken and a bubble milk tea to call this trip an end, so I syarted to look for a fried chicken store and a drinks shop.

I ordered a bubble milk tea from "Gui Ji", the flavor of tea is quite fresh, but it taste quite less for milk, so I guess it is just tea, instead of tea, their bubble taste really well, it is chewy and sweet, I think it save the whole drink.

The fried chicken is from a store called "Pike", I heard its name before so I think it is quite popular, so I bought one fried chicken wih a little bit spicy, as a result, it is delicious in its crispy, spicy, and the meat is so soft and tender, guess the food takes most of the part in most of my trip.

On a typical Thursday afternoon, I was snuggled up in my room, engrossed in my phone screen. The wind howled outside my ear, filling the room through the open window. Clouds floated in the sky, casting a gloomy shadow over the increasingly chilly weather. A chill ran down my spine, and a shiver quickly surfaced. I got out of bed and made my way to the window, where I felt completely at peace as the wind grew stronger, as if my room were a playground for the winds. Despite the overwhelming gusts, I closed the window without a care in the world. Right as I turned around to continue staring at my phone on the bed, I noticed my virtual reality goggles on my desk. I had purchased them a few days before to Thursday.
