Thanks to Dr. Wan and Dr. Irwan, I had been given this opportunity to explore the amazing and awesome microbial world. I had gained more knowledge about the microbial interaction, groups, habitat, nutrition, metabolism and the application of microbes. During the 3MT, I adopt Deinococcus radiodurans as my microbe. 

Thanks to the 3MT, now I realize that microbes also benefit us instead of bringing danger to the world. Before this, I thought microbes are bad because microbes are pathogenic and cause some deadly infectious diseases that may cause harm or death to people around the world. However, after I had finished my first year, I know that microbes are not that bad since some of them can cure the deadly diseases.

I had been infected with this disease during the final exam. At that time, I thought it was an insect bite. So, I am just being cool about that. But then, the infection was getting bigger day by day. So, I went to the nearby clinic. The doctor said it was nothing serious. It does not dangerous. After two weeks, I felt that the infection was getting worse. So, I went to another clinic which is Policlinic Shaik. The doctor said it was a bacterial infection, which is known as an abscess. I was like, OMG, the abscess.. I know that. I had learnt that. When the doctor explained about the gram-positive bacterium, staph infection and so on, I felt so excited like a kid got a candy. Hahaha.

So, she suggested me to go to the specialist. From this moment, I had started to wonder whether I had sporotrichosis disease since I had to take care of my 3 cats that had been infected with sporotrichosis.
