thanks  you to all of you for contributing to a successful day. I had a look at the evaluations and they were good ..nothing stood out apart from students always rating more speaking skills highly for lessons.
I think my lessons went well overall and the students worked well in their group all day. In terms of reflections of the day I think that as usual I was too ambitious and although I planned to do a recipe reconstruction activity using the coursebook video I didn't actually get to it. However the students did spend valuable time talking about Italian Australian culture in Sydney.  Students used the past tense with avere well but made a lot of errors using 'essere' so many still had not covered it in the course. Need more practice at it and of course reflexives.
