Traditional Grammar: Focuses on rules and drills.

Example: “I’m going to the park tomorrow.” (Used in a weekend plan activity)

also makes communication more natural and effective

It helps you to know how grammar works differently depending on what we are talking about

Who we are talking to or where the conversation happens

Because the main goal is for students to express themselves clearly and understand others. Accuracy can improve over time, but meaningful communication builds confidence and real-life language skills.

Another example, where accuracy is more important than fluency, is when we have a C1-level student who is preparing for an exam. In this case, the student is already fluent enough, and our goal is to correct mistakes and improve their grammar.
