For twenty days, at different hours, we checked the air temperature, areosols and atmospheric pressure. All information needed for the project was available on airly.com. The biggest factor influencing such a result is the difference in the size of these towns and the number of inhabitants. The fact that the air was tested during the heating period was also decisive. Sampling hours were also important, the results were usually better in the morning and the air was of better quality. Both places didn’t turn out badly. The measurement site in Otmuchów was located on the outskirts of the city, which caused a lot of urban pollution to spread in different directions. The place of research in Korfantów was in the centre, which probably also has a big impact on the results. Both towns are located in the same climate zone. Korfantów is less industrialized than Otmuchów. There are several industrial plants in Otmuchów but they do not harm the air quality as much, which shows people’s awareness of air care and their ability to run industrial plants that are environmentally friendly.
