The IB learner profile doesn’t only focus on academic aspects, it also focuses on encouraging individuals to respect and appreciate others and the world live in. Although I don’t have all of these qualities now, I desire to have them and I understand the importance of these qualities in an academic environment. Therefore, I believe that I am an IB learner already. Currently, I am an open-minded, caring, and principled individual. I have an interest in other’s experiences and opinions and I consider these when forming my personal opinion. I understand the importance of being respectful and compassionate towards others especially regarding fairness and justice. Over this year I plan to build my skill set in all other IB areas and I believe will achieve this.
