It gives them a motivation to learn because it affects all of the students and they want to do well. It puts the learning in their hands and is more hands on than just sitting and listening to me ramble on and on.

What: This will all be done in class to facilitate access to each other and other resources the school can provide. The students will need to complete an assignment created by me for respective branches of government. It will be accompanied by the U.S. Constitution which will be the primary source. Then they will be grouped together to fill out the rest of the assignment. They will then put important information on a poster to present to the rest of class to practice their public speaking.

How: The grades will come from the assignment that they filled out before the presentation to the class. The presentation to the class will more be focused on their preparation and not necessary their delivery, I want to go over good public speaking before this assignment so they can practice before.
