This is the British national Age ratings. This will determine what age rating a film will have. This means that when the film is released it will show you who are the suitable people to watch this movie. Not all people will stick to these age ratings put its just there for your personal safety.

U - This age rating is suitable for all viewers .

PG - This age rating is suitable for children accompanied by adults.

12 - This age rating is not to be viewed by anyone under the age of 12 in a cinema or event.

12A - This age rating is to be viewed by anyone, but if you are under the age of 12 years old you must be accompanied by an adult.

15 - This age rating is suitable for people above the age of 15.

18 - This age rating is only suitable for people over the age of 18. If you are under 18 you can not watch this movie in a cinema.

This has a age rating of U. This means that this movie is suitable for all audiences. This movie was spread globally and viewed by all age groups, and it still is to this day.

The Breakfast Club made in 1985 is an old time classic. This movie was made for the older audience. Because this movie was released in 1985 it means that the younger audience of today won't really attract to this film. To this date this film is loved by millions but the majority of viewers will be 40+ years of age now. The reason this is a 15 is because it contains adult humour and sexual references which is not suitable for the younger viewer. People who are older than 15 in this year will not really appeal to this film as its release date was old. Back in the 80's this movie was aimed at high school kid, who will now be in there 40's.

Jurassic World released in 2015 is a re make of old school family action sci-fi thriller jurassic park. The age rating of this movie is a 12. This means if you are under the age of 12 years old you can not view this movie in a cinema or buy it in a shop. For this re make their target audience is not only the older generation it was also aimed at younger kids as its more family friendly. Younger teenagers would like this movie along side with the older generation who enjoyed the old trilogy classics.

Green Street is rated 18, this movie will not appeal to anyone who isn't into football or violence, their target audience are not only people over the age of 18 but also young teenagers who like a bit of a scuff up. The producers of this movie targeted these type of people as thats what the movie is about. If you are a west ham fan you would also like this movie as it is based on west ham united football club. The gender targeted was mostly men as the language in this movie and the violence is not appealing to most women.

ITV is a classic example of a channel viewed by many of age groups. This channel has various programmes on it which will be broadcasted during throughout the whole day. You start with the morning talk shows which would usually be viewed by people that get up early in the morning for work. You then have the reality Tv shows which will usually be viewed by people who don't work or people who stay at home during the day, these programmes aren't usually there big selling shows. You then have your game shows which usually would be viewed by the older age group of adults and pensioners. You then have a soaps stage which is viewed by people of all ages, Usually families and older aged people would watch these soaps. You have the news at 7pm which is usually viewed by the older aged people. After the news and weather they broadcast old movies for people who like to stay up late. Usually late at night they will also show a lot of murder mystery programmes as well.

The whole idea of this website is a re direction from the harlow college page, its basically a website which students can access. On this website are shoots of the college in the media depertmant. This shows students and any one else who wishes to view the site the vast varitys of media. This website covers the media department, the photography department and also the journalism department. There will be promotional videos on the webistes and photoshoots and podcasts. This is mainly just a bragging website to show off our department and to show teenagers why the should join these particular courses.

This whole idea is to pitch a product that we have chosen as a team. Our product is an old styled phone which is targeted towards an older audience of a age range older than 50. This is an easy access phone and its not touch screen so the use of buttons is in play. We have to break this down into different sections and plan this pitch. We have to create an advertisement and look at techniques which would be targeted to our particular audience. The whole idea of this is to gain understansment on product advertisement to a particular audience.
