         <description><![CDATA[<div>People started to come up with new inventions suck as the Geometric and military compass. the Geometric and military compass was used to help bankers to exchange currencies and helped the bankers become more wealthy. Its also helped them protect goods on the ship for trade, and helped then fire cannons for accurately. it also helped for ship makers to make better and more sturdy ships. another invention was the printing press which could print up to 300 pages a day and it helped spread knowledge and made it easier to access.</div>]]></description>

Italy had many trade routes and the middle east, Africa and Europe was close to Italy so they had many trade routes between them. Since Venice and Genoa were both in the middle they were in a competition. Climate was also a big part of it because there were long growing seasons which men't Italy could grow grapes for wine and olives which was men't for trading</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wealthy merchants were patrons or artists, thinkers, scientist and innovators. they supported people to help them build on there line of work. and the Duke of Mantua offered Galileo a position on his court and he would pay his salary and living expenses to work on innovations. and he did that because since Galileo was famous it brought more attention and caught peoples eyes.</div>]]></description>

The Medici Family creaed a new system of banking that got around the cathlec rules of charging interrest. cutomers could exchange a IOU for a loan, cathloc money exchangers were charged a feefor the exchange</div>]]></description>
