Live Board Interactive is the most fabulous thing in class! It's fantastic when you can connect with the students in real time despite the distance and it is the very solution for those students who always have to struggle to see whats actually being written on the whiteboard (the traditional way of teaching). According to Liveboard (2018), that this lesson can be recorded and saved is absolutely good because you can always refer back to the note without much hassle. And it is fun when it feels like you are having one to one lesson because your device is the medium. You can always refer to the website to actually clarify what I'm saying.

Liveboard.

I think it is an useful apps because it does give students flexibility in term of times and places to learn. As stated in EzTalks, "With the increasing use of video conferencing systems, many schools have adopted e-learning options in their curriculum. That means students can attend classes from anywhere at any time." That is why it is useful apps for students and there are actually lot of benefit we can gain from using this platform though it is not popular enough.

The major factor that has contributed to the success of this exceptional tool is the fact that interactive whiteboardincreases the involvement and collaboration of the students in the classroom. The media content on these interactive whiteboards successfully catches the attention of the students and make lectures far more interesting and engrossing. The interactive whiteboard is an economical choice when compared with the investments required for an IT classroom and it is often more effective as it creates a favorable environment for every student in the classroom.

However, in my personal view, if we always into a technology, there is a lot of problem issues will occur!

In my opinion, I think that LiveBoard Interactive app is very useful for students and teachers as it is free and feature-rich. In case any of you don't know, it is stated in the LiveBoard website that this app is very flexible as the users can "easily connect with your students worldwide with real-time, digital collaboration and audio conferencing". It is also one of the recommended interactive whiteboard website made by HighFive. According to Moseley, LiveBoard is perhaps one of the best deals of all the interactive whiteboard apps on the market.

https://highfive.com/blog/top-4-interactive-whiteboard-apps-remote-meetings/

I agree with you guys opinion and also benefits about this Live Board. This app is not only can be use in classroom but also outside the classroom. Like teacher and students are having virtual classroom from distance. That is the benefit of it. You can access the app where ever you are. It is amazing isn't it? If the teacher want to make a virtual classroom this app can detect who are not joining. So it is not a problem to not joining the session. Not to forget this app is actually can access using gadget both Android and iOs users. This app is actually have been upgrade to have audio features. According to Margarian, as soon as the work is done, the audio files can be sent to the interactive meeting participants via email and this can serve as a useful way of documenting ideas and keeping a record of what has been done and said. So with this new features, the students will be more understand about the lesson learn in the app.

Margarian, A. (2017). LiveBoard:Draw, Share and Collaborate in Real-Time.
Now, let's focus on the dark side of this app. We can see that depending on technology means that more usage of Internet! In order to make everyone participate in the online Liveboard Interactive is a good Internet speed to ensure the live happens real time. However, looking at our current Internet plan in this country, I find that it is a long way to go in ensuring the students can afford good speed Internet plan because it is very expensive. And just like Dyan mentioned in the previous post, interaction by phone devide can easily distract students as for sure there are many notifications going to come in and interrupt the focus. Although during normal lesson students also play their phones but it is quite restricted to be compared learning using phone. And, the lesson audio is only applicable for the teacher and in order for the students to respond is by typing which is going to be a little bit difficult for everyone to notice and it is going to take some time for the teacher as well. Then, as stated by Schroeder (2008), This manner of active learning, with group work, sharing, and time for technological exploration, is more time-consuming than straight lecture or demonstration which is very true because it takes a longer time to do thing as it might lag or external factor. But believe this app can be the feature education tool but as for now it can be used as an extra tool in educating to make things more interesting.

Well guys, as this app can use in the classroom can we shall see the advantage and disadvantage of this app. Let’s start with advantage first I guess. So the first advantage of flexibility which we can access the LiveBoard 24/7 at any place as long as we have internet connection. Second is, levelling which we can reserved people who usually don’t speak up can say as much as they like while “loud” people are just another voice and cant interrupt. Well it is also documented unlike verbal conversation, online discussion is lasting and can be revisited. Enough with advantage let’s move on to disadvantage. First of all there are no physical cues like gesture, expression or the ability to retract immediately and a big risk of misunderstanding. It is inefficient too as it takes long than verbal conversation so it’s hard to reply to all points in a message lastly leaving questions unanswered. Lastly, is isolation. Some learner prefers to learn on their own and don’t participate in discussion. So I think the group leader of the discussion or teacher have to play a big role to make sure everyone is participate and the topic discuss is fully understand and not take a long time to discuss. What do you guys think?

Jois, N. (2018). Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Communication.

This LiveBoard features is also interesting too. If you guys did not know about the features so let me tell you some of the features. One of the features is instant messaging where it is easy outreach between participants through this instant message. Second is handwriting recognition which it is smoothly covert handwriting to text for easy to read notes because sometime our handwriting is cannot be read by us too. Next is unlimited undos and redo’s. Which we can quickly recover from mistake that we have done and keep moving forward. Another is display image like share images from your device to teach clearly. Besides, there is also searchable archive feature which it can access past session recording in an easy to search archive. Lastly is cloud storage. You can save your past lesson on the cloud for easy access from anywhere.

LiveBoard. (2018). Teaching Collaboration Just Got Easier.

Firstly, According to Ez Talk Website the mentioned about time requirement. For example, if the teacher or lecturer they are in a rush to go to class they need some extension projector to bring along, it will make the teacher will come late to the class. Why old fashioned textbooks are prepared to student it is just to bring and looking at the book?

Next, Projection problems if we use this kind of style of learning we should consider the place that the class conducted. There will be a problem when some glare from sunlight that is reflecting the screen. This will make the student problem in reading diagrams, images and fonts. The teacher need to explain back at the whiteboard by using the marker pen again. So this is not helpful at all.

The most important point that I would like to highlight is eye healthiest. Continuously staring at the screen of interactive whiteboard, especially in dark areas can negatively affect eyesight. They need to seek medical attention for treatment. It is not occurring only by one person may be in a class of the student will get this disease

Hutt (2017) 'Disadvantages os Interactive Whiteboards'.

Now let us see by traditional education what students can get instead of having interactive whiteboard or having e learning. Let's take a look when we still stick to the traditional education.

Active learning is one of the benefits when we use traditional education, student learns quickly in classroom for example having face to face communication. This is the most effective ways when the teacher is energetic on delivering their learning to the student.

Move on to the next point is active participation of student and teacher, this we can discuss when the student have a question to be asked. So here they can discuss and get solution together. After that, they will feel easily comfortable to have communicating session if they do not understand.

Activities, so student will take part with playing games and enjoy the activities not only watching the whiteboard. They have something to be done to their friend. They will solve the problem and get a better explanation with playing games. This session will be not boring session. it is really helpful to the student.

Anonymos (2017) "5 Advantages and Disadvantages of Traditional Education '.
Despite the cons, i still want to stress how Liveboard is an amazing tool where the lesson can be saved and shared easily by email and social media (Highfive, 2018). This is amazing for those students who unable to attend the lesson because for example even they are seeing their friends note it would not be the same as seeing those written by the teacher because everyone writes in a way they only would understand. And not only that, it is easier to share the notes in a sense of sharing knowledge.

After only about 1 year it being offered, do you guys know that it has already shown an impressive feedback from the users? Even though there are still some of us out there might still never heard of it, Live Board app has successfully attracted a high number of users all around the globe. According to Ghonyan (2015), "LiveBoard downloads exceed 5000, and they are going to surpass the threshold of 10 thousand shortly." Clearly, it is a phenomenon for lecturers, students and even employers who might want to adapt with a new way of learning and communicating tool. Windom (2015) stated that, businesses in today’s fast-paced lifestyle are constantly on the hunt for professional productivity tools, the tools need to be feature driven, easy-to-use, and enable employees to work more efficiently. As we know, meetings are often involving many people. Therefore, this can be also be used by all participants to make the process easier in displaying to one another throughout the session.

It’s a useful, easy to use white board tool, with some solid functionality. I recommend giving it a try if you are interested in using a free online collaborative whiteboard. This will indirectly increase students' interest by using a different type of learning tool rather than usual ones. As cited by Walsh (2010), "A great way to help ensure that students engage with learning content is by knowing their interest''. Therefore, students may not feel boring using this where they can try a new thing and not only depending on traditional way of learning. Brenton (2016) stated that making your students interested in a subject can be a real challenge.

LiveBoard, as its name suggests, puts a blank whiteboard surface on your screen. It offers more than one person to join in even you are separated distances away. As cited by Charles (n.d), "These virtual whiteboards give business colleagues the ability to collaborate online, not letting distance stand as an obstacle to progress." You can send a private link to whomever you wish to invite, and whether from a mobile device or a desktop web browser they will be able to view and interact with your virtual board in real time. According to Margarian (2017), "LiveBoard is helpful for side by side collaboration. When you are sitting next to someone and you want to share ideas through sketching something, you can definitely use LiveBoard". It also has all sorts of tools for whiteboard-like collaboration. As cited by, Raphael (2018), "LiveBoard makes it easy to export and save your boards when you're done, and it's completely free to use".

1) Charles, A.

Yes, i totally agree with each of you. There are lot of avantages and disadvantages that we can gain from this platform. Despite the disadvantages that we gain from this, why do not we make a use of the advantages though? From Hitachi Digital Media Group, mentioned that "Showing presentations and information via an interactive projector gives you the ability to share notes digitally at the end of the lesson — and when students know you’ve got the broader note-taking covered, they can focus more on listening, and only writing down things that are specifically useful to them." As it saying that, with this platform it actually helps students in taking notes as it helps student in multi-tasking. Other than taking notes, there are many advantages of this apps despite the disadvantages of it.

http://www.hitachidigitalmedia.com/en-gb/news/blog/5-benefits-of-teaching-with-an-interactive-projector

One cons that can conclude for this app is it is pricey and according to our economic rates in Malaysia, we cannot afford this app mainly because of the high price as not everyone have enough money to afford buying the app. Also, if we use the app, it demolishes the traditional way of teachers teaching and people might be too dependent on technology.

https://www.eztalks.com/whiteboard/pros-and-cons-of-interactive-whiteboards.html

However, if you look it at the brighter side, there is a lot pros rather than cons. This being that the era has changed, so does the generation. Technology has become a part of our life, don’t you think so? The reason why I think that LiveBoard is a good app for both students and teachers is because it is very flexible as it means that students don’t need to bring very heavy books to class anymore.
https://www.frontrowagile.com/blog/posts/20-physical-vs-electronic-task-boards-which-is-better

In conclusion, in my opinion, I think that LiveBoard has a lot of benefits and it is preferable by a lot of generations especially the younger generations. For adults, it is easier for them to have virtual meetings and as for students, they do not have to bring heavy books to class anymore. Since, this generation is all about technology, they are expected to know everything about it. Not only that, Live Board is also a flexible app. If we dismiss the idea that purchasing this app is quite pricey, the price makes up of all the features inside this app.
Francino, Y.

Yes as there are so many of the advantages that are being shared here, i would like to share the disadvantages of this apps to strengthen Diyana's opinion. Cost is a big disadvantages of this apps to students. As already being mentioned, the cost is not worth for the student to gain benefit from as it is too pricey. This apps have a lot of tools that we need to use and each one of them cost lot. For students to spend on these tools, it does not make sense unless the students themselves willingly to spend on it. As stated by O'Neill (2017), he stated that "Both Cisco and Google offer 55-inch versions of their boards, each priced at nearly $5,000. A 70-inch version of Spark Board is priced at nearly $10,000. Customers also need to pay a $200 monthly subscription to Cisco's cloud, which handles the interactions between Cisco Spark software and the interactive display." It clearly shows that this platform use a big cost and for some students it may be not worth it to apply it on daily learning.

https://searchunifiedcommunications.techtarget.com/feature/Cost-lack-of-interoperability-encumber-digital-whiteboards
