AP News - AP News is also a verifiable news source. It gives credit and sources to the evidence, quotes and facts it includes in its stories.

Both of these sources also include bylines and information about the authors, as well as informational pages about the organizations.

Fox News - Fox News does not pass the independence part of the V.I.A. analysis because it is owned by Fox Corporation which is a part of a bigger media conglomerate.

AP News - AP News passes the independent part of the V.I.A. analysis because it is an independent news cooperative.

Fox News reports with more of a conservative perspective where AP News is said to be more impartial.

In the articles I found for my news stories log, magnitude was the second highest news driver for AP News.

This article's title is more of an emotional appeal than the first AP News visual because it states, "...thousands still without water struggle to find enough." This article includes personal statements from people affected by Hurricane Helene as well as possible steps to take next to help aid in the recovery from Hurricane Helene.

Both Fox News and AP News are credible sources, but Fox News is a more biased news source and it isn't an independent source, so if someone wanted to read a more neutral news story, I would point them to AP News rather than Fox News.
