Jeni Gruber

This whole transition has challenged me. Our Technical Support Team supported 3/4 Lines of Business before the divesture. Going from that to just our Online Program Management line has challenged me to dust off and relearn a lot of the support pieces.

I was recently designing a 100 level PSY course and was asked to create a few unique design elements. I ended up adding flash cards for module vocabulary in H5P, which I had not done before. The first time I completed it, it took me quite a bit of time. After that, I found a way to streamline the process.

Over the past year-ish I collaborated with a few colleagues to audit courses and then develop faculty workshops which addressed the program faculty where they were. I practiced 1. addressing faculty questions in live time 2. facilitating group dynamics 3. adapting lessons to unique learner needs and limitations. - Kim Atmar

One of our partners is going through scalability issues (enrollments over 200). It has not happened before so no existing resources to reference. I had to assess partner needs at a program & course level, manage partner expectations, implement rubrics to assess the courses, research and create resources, and project manage the entire process as the manager and as their ID. This has been really fun but difficult because this is in addition to my regular duties. -Jess K
