3. Im originally from Virginia. In Virginia we do not have very strong IT program. So I found SF college and decided to move to FL for all three tracks with in the IT program.
4. My major at the moment is Network Security, but I am going to complete all 3 networking tracks to better my knowledge.
5. I am taking this class to help grasp the hands on experience for learning computer hardware and practices.
6. I hope to learn how to maintain and build my own computer.

3. Santa Fe had the program I was interested in, and was close to home. Also, the employee education program through UF has stipulations about where I can take classes. 
4. My major is network security. I chose this because it seems lucrative, interesting, and will likely not have an oversaturated job market. 
5. This class will help me better understand computers, and solve issues that may arise. 
6. I'd like to get more comfortable with building computers, and working with them. 
7. I work as an accountant at UF. It's not a bad job, but I'm not very passionate about it, hence working on a new degree. I chose Santa Fe College as my school for a few reasons. One, it's close to home, and I don't have to move from my current job and home. Two, because it's an awesome campus where there are less students to a class than a university. Last, it has very good flexibility options that allow me to work a full-time job and be a parent while going to school.
 
I am majoring in Network Security because I already work for an IT company and I have really enjoyed my job for the last 6 years. I want to work on my education, though, so I can be more proficient in the work I do, and so I can compete with larger companies in the future.

I'm taking this class because it is among my degree requirements for my current major, but also to learn about anything I may have missed working in the field. Anything that helps me to be more efficient with my time at work is beneficial to me, and the company I work with. 

I hope to learn more about computer hardware and troubleshooting. I already have a very solid knowledge of computer repair and the basics, but anything that helps me to figure out hardware issues quicker is always helpful.

As for me, I'm an easy going individual, but I have serious desires in life and can be quite ambitious with some of those. I want to own my own farm one day for example. I'd like to have horses and fruit trees. I also would like to get chickens again. Possibly Rabbits. I have always loved animals. Currently I have 2 cats and two dogs, but I grew up on a farm locally. I love to go fishing and play VR video games whenever I can find the time. I have a 5 year old son who I am solely responsible for, and a wonderful small home just outside of town. I work a 9-5 job 5 days a week, and spend weekends plotting my next weekend adventure with my girlfriend and son. I'm just coming back to school after a 5 year break, and am very motivated to finish and continue with my plans. I love Florida. It's where I was born. It's where I will die. There's a simple summary of myself. I hope you all enjoyed learning a bit about me. I've enjoyed learning about you all so far.
