This quote is from the article, "A Talk to Teachers", and it directly relates to some of the responsibilities that I listed above.  It's important to teach multicultural lessons so that all of the students get to learn about their culture and background. It's important that students feel a sense of home in the classroom. This quote is important because schooling is a way of teachers teaching, educating, and encouraging the future of our society.  Teachers create new leaders, future doctors, future teachers, future business owners, etc.

I found this quote and I think this explains how students learn best.  As a teacher, you have to involve your students for them to learn.  Involving students doesn't just mean class participation, but involving their cultures, backgrounds, and home lives into the classroom.

I love this quote because I think it's directly explains the point of all of the classes I've been taking. It's essential to teach our students the way they need to be taught individually.
