My name is Roxana Henao Martínez, I am 17 years old, I am from La Dorada Caldas Colombia, a psychology student, I also work in a financial company, I am single and I have no children, in my free time I like to study a lot, create handmade accessories and share time with quality with my family.

As I was telling you, I am and I live in La Dorada Caldas, in the Las Margaritas neighborhood in a big and very nice house, accompanied by my two parents and my brother. In general, my town and my home is very nice, full of peace and love. My town is all very close. We have the Magdalena River, which represents the culture and identity, as well as people, we support each other when we can, and we always try to do good.

I am going to tell you a little about my routine, I usually get up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready, to go to work I have breakfast at 7 a.m. and the breakfast menu is very varied sometimes, oatmeal with eggs other times chocolate between others, I go to work by motorbike, I have lunch regularly at 12:30 and the menu is very varied, every day is somewhat different, then I return home at 6:00 p.m., as soon as I arrive I have something healthy for dinner, followed by That's why I do university work and I also make woven pieces such as accessories. On weekends I try to study as much as possible and I regularly study English, since it is a bit complicated for me. I also dedicate part of my time to my business and to doing the accessories, I usually rest and sleep at night around 10:30 although it all depends on the daily obligations

In my free time I like to walk, go to observe the Magdalena river is my passion accompanied by my family, share the best moments with them, my hobby is weaving handmade accessories, and enjoy life to the fullest

I am currently in La Dorada Caldas, a welcoming city that welcomes its own and visitors with open arms, where its main tourist spots are the boardwalk or enrocado, La Charca de Guarinicito, Santander Park, Simón Bolívar Park, El Cortijo Water Park, port of the boats among many others that generate attraction and tourism in our city.

It is very typical to find in Doradense homes the sweaty fish, the Doradence insignia the catfish sancocho, also the tamale has influenced our culture

La Dorada is well known for its festivities, the Carnival of the River and the Sun held in the middle of the year, the birthday of the gilthead is also celebrated, the reign of the heart of Colombia, fairs to promote local consumption, among others.

Lastimosamente, no cumpli con este item, los aportes que subi al foro fueron fuera de la fecha estrçablecida por el cronograma, cuento con roblemas de salud los cuales me han discapacitado un poco, y he tenido que guardar reposo por recomendación medica cuento con las incapacidades dadas, pido disculpas por participar mucho después. 

¿Preparé y dediqué suficiente tiempo para realizar una buena presentación oral en el video y/o en el encuentro sincrónico? 

Prepare mucho y ensañaba lo mas que podía, pues en cierta parte al hablar en ingles me genera miedo e inseguridad por mi poco conocimiento, por eso me esforcé al practicar para general un video con la pronunciación lo mas correcta posible. 

¿Me siento más seguro de expresarme Oralmente en Inglés?

La verdad yo soy una persona muy penosa y aun siento mucho miedo e inseguridad al hablar en ingles pues siento que la pronunciación es muy difícil, y que no se me da.

 ¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional?

Aprender inglés puede tiene un impacto positivo en mi vida personal y profesional de muchas maneras. 

En mi vida personal:

Puedo comunicarme con hablantes de inglés de todo el mundo, lo que puede abrirme a nuevas culturas y experiencias.

Puedo disfrutar de una amplia variedad de contenido en inglés, como películas, música y literatura, sin tener que depender de las traducciones.

Puedo viajar con más facilidad y seguridad a lugares donde se habla inglés, lo que puees hacer que mis viajes sean más enriquecedores y gratificantes.

En mi vida profesional:

Puedo tener más oportunidades laborales en empresas multinacionales que requieren habilidades de comunicación en inglés.

Puedo tener una ventaja competitiva en el mercado laboral si tienes habilidades lingüísticas en inglés, especialmente si estoy buscando trabajar en un campo relacionado con los negocios o la tecnología.

asistir a conferencias y reuniones internacionales y comunicarme con otros profesionales en inglés, lo que puede ayudarte a establecer conexiones.

En resumen, aprender inglés puede abrir muchas puertas en mi vida personal y profesional, permitiéndome comunicarme con más gente, tener acceso a más contenido y tener más oportunidades en el mercado laboral.
