Portia, the wife of Brutus was concerned for her husband as he was distant and secretive due to his part in the assassination. On the day of Caesar's assassination, Portia acknowledged what would happen but did not attempt to put an end to it. Was she truly a conspirator? Calpurnia plays a big role, as she warns and begs Caesar to say home. She warns him of her nightmares, Antony goes to the Senate house as a precaution. Caesar does not think about the Senate house will stop his death, as it is inevitable.
