I mean, come on. Come. On. Does this even need explanation? Especially if you live near streets that possesses any form of sound systems, you will know what I mean. Them songs bro, they tug on your heartstrings in the way no other groups of festival-themed songs can (except for the edm children playlist or whatever those are called). I love all the songs, from classics to slightly less popular classics. They all touch on different colors of Christmas that I find and resonate with. There is, however, one song in particular stuck with me simply because it's been around my life the longest: Mary's Boy Child by Boney M from the album "Christmas with Boney M".

This is a rather deep cut, as it's not a song you'd think of when you mention Boney M. But for anyone that cares enough to give it a listen, it will instantly be memorable because of how ridiculously catchy it is (something I'll touch on later because it's just that good). Featuring a 4-piece vocal ensemble of Liz Mitchell, Marcia Barrett, Maizie Williams and Bobby Farrell, the song tells the everlong tale of the birth of Christ and the blessings it brings to the world.

With the distinctive symphonic choir synonymous with Boney M., the song begins with a hook that repeats multiple times during the song:
