      <link>https://padlet.com/connollype064/fruodd26iythjjap</link>
<description>Create a padlet that reflects each of the main characters&#39; endings by adding information into the columns. Fill in all the information under the correct headings. Use plenty of details and make sure you use YOUR OWN WORDS. No copying and pasting except for the Key Quote sections. Scroll to the right to complete columns for all THREE characters. Check the assignment in CANVAS for how to turn in your work.</description>

<title>Roderigo is characterized as somewhat weak and a bit on the whiny side. He&#39;s not a true military man and appears to be somewhere in the hierarchy of nobility as he has land that he will sell in order to &quot;fill his purse&quot; with money. (Which Iago eventually &quot;bobs&quot; for himself.) Roderigo is also very gullible and allows Iago to lead him on constantly. This character is mostly a static character, but has a tendency to be almost dynamic because he is slowly becoming more dissatisfied with Iago. He remains on the edge of skepticism of Iago&#39;s plans and always allows himself to be persuaded one more time, which is what prevents him from making a complete change in his character. </title>

<title>Over the course of the play, Roderigo has become increasingly disillusioned with Iago&#39;s ability to help him get Desdemona. By Act 4, scene 3, Roderigo is ready to give up on Desdemona and go back to Venice, but Iago persuades him to try one more time for Des, and so Roderigo agrees to help kill Cassio. In Act 5, Scene 1, when Roderigo ambushes Cassio, it all goes wrong; Roderigo fails to kill Cassio but is wounded BY Cassio. Iago later finishes Roderigo off, but not before Roderigo realizes, as he is gasping his last, that Iago is an &quot;inhuman dog&quot; who has betrayed him, and probably meant to all along. </title>

<title>At the beginning of the play in Act 1, Roderigo comes across as Iago&#39;s sidekick who is working with him because he desires Desdemona for himself. His partnership with Iago is mostly friendly, but if they didn&#39;t have a common link, I don&#39;t think the two of them would spend much time together. </title>

<title>Roderigo&#39;s ending foreshadows the death and revelation of betrayal of Othello himself, because in the instant of Roderigo&#39;s last line, the character realizes Iago probably was going to kill him all along, betraying his trust just as Iago betrays the trust of Othello.</title>

<title>At the beginning of the play from Act 1, I thought that Desdemona was just a normal, young, and impulsive woman. She dropped everything for love, she was innocent and hopeful for her life. She was, and remained throughout the duration of the play, a kind woman. </title>

<title>Desdemona is characterized as a young romantic, in love with love. She is shown as an obedient wife, doing everything and anything for Othello, even when he isn’t good to her. Desdemona is a static character, even when Othello hits her, repeatedly accuses her of being unfaithful, and she spends hours begging that he believe her, she still loves him and continues to show her love for him even after he strangles her. She would do anything for Othello, even at the end of the play. </title>

<title>Desdemona waits for Iago to come to bed in Act 5, Scene 2. She is accused of being unfaithful and she insists one last time that Othello has been deceived, she has done no such thing. Othello then strangles her and Desdemona is able to awake for a few last seconds before she passes away for good. In those few seconds, she has the opportunity to tell Emilia that Othello did this to her, but she does not. She instead shows her love once again for Othello by saying that he had nothing to do with it. Desdemona was blinded by love, all the way until the end. </title>

<title>I think that it is appropriate because in this time, I guess people just killed people. Othello suspected unfaithfulness and he wouldn’t stand for that. He was given all the proof that he needed by Iago, and now she had to die. </title>

<title>At first, I thought Othello was a powerful man that charmed a young girl. He was very sweet and kind to his Desdemona and everyone around him. He was way too trusting from the beginning. I thought he was stupid from letting one thing like this getting in between his marriage and he didn’t even try to fix it. </title>

<title>Othello changes drastically during the play. Othello starts off as a kind man, very trustworthy and seemingly would never hurt anyone. He takes young Desdemona in and loves her strongly. As the play goes on, Othello begins to turn cold, “… my heart is turned to stone.” (4.1.223) his language and attitude changing towards Desdemona and everyone else. He goes from referring to Desdemona as “sweet Desdemon” (3.3.60) to “w h o r e ” (5.2.162).</title>

<title>In the end Othello finally realized that he had been betrayed and manipulated. He had just killed his loving and innocent wife over rumors, he let the person he trusted most convince him that he should kill his wife. He then felt so guilty about it that he stabbed himself in the stomach, killing himself. </title>

<title>Iago doesn’t really ever change, I think he stays the same throughout the play. He starts off wanting revenge, manipulating people and continues to do that throughout the entire play. He never shows regret or remorse. He even killed his wife because she went against him. He really just didn’t care. </title>

<title>Through the entire play from the beginning I’ve thought that Iago was a horrible person. He’s been friends with Othello for years, gained his trust and he’s just turning on him just like that? I think it’s awful of him to betray a lifelong friend for a job. </title>
